Vektor inženjering d.o.o. is a company founded two decades ago. Since 2018, in cooperation with our partners, we have been performing geotechnical tests and drilling of piles, which have an increasing application in construction, during the rehabilitation of the terrain and the provision of the foundation pit. Pile drilling
We make classic drilled piles with and without pipes, with diameter from ϕ400mm to ϕ800mm and up to 20m depth.
The pile is a relatively long and relatively thin element that is most often installed in the vertical direction from the surface of the terrain. This constructive form of foundation is older than history; it was applied as early as the Neolithic, when houses, sojenice, were built on a wooden pillars nailed to the bottom of a shallow lake. With deep foundations, the load is transferred to a certain depth below the useful part of the building structure.
Before starting the drilling of drilled piles, it is necessary to perform some preparatory work, which includes appropriate work on the construction site and work on the delivery and installation of equipment and installations, all in accordance with the specific project and field construction conditions.
The cost of pile drilling depends on many factors, among which the most important are: depth of foundation, terrain complexity, load-bearing capacity, material (concrete, reinforced concrete, etc.), size and weight of the object and so forth.
Geotechnical exploratory drilling
Before the construction of the facility, in high-rise or civil engineering, it is necessary to do geotechnical research works.
Geotechnical exploratory drilling is one of the methods of soil exploration, and is very often an integral part of geotechnical exploration works. It provides insight into the geological and geotechnical profile of the researched location. The most important result of exploratory drilling is soil sampling, which is the basis of the depth profile of the substrate of the investigated position.
In cooperation with our certified partners, we also perform laboratory testing of samples.
